Financial Specialist Jordan

We are looking for a full time Financial specialist who would work with us on the expansion of our current market position in the Middle East region, with responsibility for the financial and accounting department  of our office in Amman, Jordan. We expect candidates to be interested in photovoltaics and to have a positive attitude towards renewable energy.

The selected candidate will be working with the Jordan office and our headquarters in Prague to achieve the requested results.

Job description

  • Daily follow up on on all the accounting transactions
  • Preparing monthly Payroll for Employees, bonuses, and commissions
  • Preparing financial reports, such as Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and Cash Flow report
  • Data entry and follow up on Invoices / payment / transfers and social security corporation 
  • Preparing sales tax report for tax consultant
  • Bank reconciliation and Follow up with Local banks
  • A/P, A/R daily transactions and account reconciliation
  • Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts
  • Full awareness of external audit needs
  • Follow up with sales collections
  • Daily preparation of cheques and payments
  • Preparation of Letter of Credits and Bank Guarantees
  • Full awareness of IFRS
  • Monthly closing
  • Inventory checks on monthly basis
  • Year-end adjusting entries
  • Full knowledge of ERP system
  • Petty cash reports and office expenses

  • Accounting Graduate from a reputable university
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in similar field
  • Fluent in Arabic and English language

  • Excellent background of local tax and social security law
  • Excellent background in IFRS
