Finance Manager

Solarity is a distributor and solutions provider of photovoltaic (PV) systems. We offer a complete assortment of both on-grid and off-grid solutions, including modules, inverters, mounting systems and accessories, to PV professionals in Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa. 

Our international team has 10 years of PV experience and is based in Prague, Budapest, Kyiv, Amman and Warsaw.

Our Finance Department currently consists of 7 team members and growing. Supports all Solarity branches across the globe and the opening of new ones. You will be in charge of the team focusing on operational finance agenda such as Cash Flow Management, Business and Financial controlling and reporting, OPEX analysis and optimization, planning and forecasting, group consolidation and accounting.

Job description:

  • Financial controlling – with strong focus on working capital management 
  • Business controlling
    • Business analysis – sales, margin, operational expenses
    • Sales – monitoring trends, analysing actual vs plan and forecast, management reports preparation
  • Cash flow management
  • Corporate KPIs tracking – revenues, costs, blind spots, invoices check 
  • Responsibility for processing and accuracy of the accounting including consolidation
  • Setting tools and rules for reporting and controlling 
  • Overseeing external accounting services across 7+ branch offices
  • Cooperation with a tax advisor and auditor
  • Preparation for strategic financial decisions (analysis of markets for business opportunities – expansion, acquisitions, mergers, etc.)
  • Direct reporting to the CEO and close cooperation with the Senior Management on strategic finance projects

The ideal candidate:

  • Will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial controlling, a total of 5 + years of experience in financial management
  • Experience with financial management in the field of B2B sales of physical products
  • Experience with team management of min. 3 people
  • English at a very good level
  • Diligence, ability to think in context and independent problem solving
  • Very good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Good overview of controlling issues,accounting and tax legislation
