Senior IC Financial Supervisor

Solarity is a distributor and solutions provider of photovoltaic (PV) systems. We offer a complete assortment of both on-grid and off-grid solutions, including modules, inverters, mounting systems and accessories, to PV professionals in Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa. 

Our international team has 10 years of PV experience and is based in Prague, Budapest, Kyiv, Amman and Warsaw.

Role description:

Transaction Processing :

  • Verifies and reviews details (both sending and receiving) of intercompany requests
  • Determines and checks appropriate Intercompany accounting details e.g. GL accounts, Cost Type, Transaction Type, Tax Code, etc., when required
  • Posts Intercompany journal entries on both sides for cross-company enabled locations and to one location if not cross-company enabled
  • Cooperates with regional accountants for Intercompany transactions e.g. marketing charges, fees & commissions, royalties, loans, interest and dividend related transactions
  • Monitors pending internal finance requests and provides status updates
  • Prepares accruals for recurring transactions and ensures timely expense recognition for year-end Intercompany related accruals
  • Check payments and collections relating to Intercompany e.g. overdue, limit


  • Performs preliminary and final Intercompany reconciliations for all branches
  • Resolves intercompany reconciling items within month-end reporting
  • Monthly reporting check (KPI, credit limits, DOI, P&L, BS etc)
  • Supporting the process of consolidation

Cash flow

  • Coordinates with Treasury for any settlement requirements


  • Provides data to Internal and External Auditors
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and implements related projects
  • Transfer pricing between branches, check of IC margins
  • Participation in financial planning of branches
  • Participation in setting of accounting rules in branches incl. ERP system setup
  • Supervision of monthly and yearly financial closing of the branches
What you will need to have:
  • Controlling experience at least 3+ years preferable from multinational and multicultural company
  • At least 7+ years of experience in finance
  • Experience with implementing the accounting and controlling processes
  • Advanced knowledge of English, including professional terminology,
  • Very good communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in accounting/audit environment
  • Experience from distribution business with stock accounting is an advantage
  • Be careful, reliable, flexible and can think in context
  • Good knowledge of MS Office/Google suite, experience with ERP system K2 is an advantage
